What is BillMaster?
BillMaster is a mobile checkout solution for restaurants. Guests tap their phone on an NFC tag at the table, view their bill in real-time, and pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay — no app download needed.
Do my customers need to download an app?
No! BillMaster uses Apple App Clips and Android Instant Apps. The app launches instantly without any download.
How does the NFC work?
A small NFC tag is placed on each table. When a guest holds their phone near it (iPhone or Android), BillMaster opens automatically with their table information.
Is it compatible with my POS system?
Yes. BillMaster integrates as a sidecar layer on top of your existing POS rather than replacing it. The POS remains the system of record for checks, pricing, taxes, discounts, and operations, while BillMaster handles the guest bill-viewing and mobile payment experience.
Will BillMaster replace Maitre'D, Veloce, or the UI my staff already uses?
No. BillMaster is a sidecar, not a takeover. It is not meant to replace Maitre'D, Veloce, operator workstations, or front-of-house workflows. Your team keeps using the same screens and operating flow they use today; BillMaster only adds a guest-facing mobile checkout path without interfering with existing operations.

Are payments secure?
Absolutely. All payments go through Apple Pay and Google Pay, which use tokenization and end-to-end encryption. No card data is ever stored.
